Before receiving Sports Massage treatment each client will answer a health questionnaire. This will provide Ian with information on the client’s lifestyle, sporting activities, physical condition and relevant medical history. All information provided is strictly confidential

There may be circumstances where sports massage may not be advisable and this will be explained to the client. For example in the case of acute injuries (up to 72 hours)

Wondering when or why you should use Sports Massage?

If you are in training Sports Massage can be given either pre or post training sessions and also before and after an event. You may also use Sports Massage to help relax tired and aching muscles. Below are a couple of reasons why Sports Massage is beneficial:

1. Pre-event to improve circulation to muscles, to warm up and stimulate the body in preparation for the event.

2. Post-event to warm down the muscles, improve circulation to the muscles, to aid recovery and stretch the muscles and help eliminate waste products.
